The water content of bagasse in sugarcane tableware is 11 % and its main components are cellulose, lignin and five-carbon sugars. The cellulose and lignin decompose slowly and because of their low nitrogen and phosphorus content, sugarcane tableware is generally composted for more than 3 months, depending on the composting environment.
The composting room or compost maker, after one month of treatment such as air supply, turning and crushing, will give you a mature sugarcane Tableware organic fertiliser. After composting, the sugarcane becomes a nutritious fertiliser rich in nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus and calcium.
Composting conditions can be accelerated by adding materials with high helium and phosphorous content. The decomposition time can be shortened by ventilating in an air-fed composting room. Mixing with other wastes such as alcohol waste, pig manure residues etc. at a ratio of 1:1 and fermenting with air can accelerate the composting of sugarcane cutlery. After a sustained period of time, the air is sent for treatment to make a well-decayed composted fertiliser.
Preferably to a specialist commercial composting facility, with the worst option being to a landfill site.

Sugarcane products are rapidly biodegradable and do not release harmful chemicals.
Sugarcane organic fertiliser is very effective in growing papaya and lucerne seedlings. Alternatively, bulk bagasse can be applied directly to sugar cane fields at a rate of about 150 tonnes per hectare, planting the green plants first, then ploughing them into the soil when they have grown, before planting the sugar cane. The sugar cane product can increase yields by about 6-12%. And the results of potting trials show that the application of bagasse fertiliser is effective in improving the water retention and aeration of the soil and in increasing the stem height, number of lobed leaves and stem diameter of sugarcane.
